Lisneal College’s highly popular Chemistry Club meets each Wednesday at lunch time for Years 8-10. An enthusiastic group of budding young chemists engage in a wide range of chemistry practicals including sparklers, making bouncy balls, controlled explosions, growing crystals and many more.

Last year we finished off with an exciting trip to W5 at the Odyssey and this year some members of Chemistry Club will attend a special Chemistry Week at University of Ulster at Coleraine where they will attend a lecture on the chemistry of food.
As the pupils themselves say “Chemistry Club is cool!”
