All pupils receive extensive careers advice, education and guidance throughout their time at Lisneal College and have the opportunity to participate in work experience in Year 12 and Year 14.
The school has a well-resourced Careers Library and the availability of Careers staff that have extensive experience in the area and long and productive contacts with local businesses, industries and employers as well as training providers.

In addition to this, careers staff have regular and productive contact with the Careers Service and various universities and colleges of further education.
