Lisneal College opened in September 2004 as the result of an amalgamation between Clondermot and Faughan Valley High Schools. The College operated for three years on two campuses - the Irish Street Campus and the Drumahoe Campus. The inaugural headmaster was John Magowan who retired in December 2005. The time prior to the opening of the new school on Crescent Link Road allowed us to effect the amalgamation in a smooth, organised manner.
We moved to our new premises in September 2007 allowing the present pupils to have access to the most up to date and state-of-the-art facilities.
Lisneal College's new motto:-
Respect for Everyone, Achievement for Life.
Mission Statement :-
